What is it?
Right now Pooh Corners is a Possibility. We hope to make it an oasis of Peace and Self- Sufficiency. It's the ultimate in recycling; the house and barn were built in 1936 as part of a local dairy farm. We have moved them onto our 20 acres in the mountains. As well as the buildings, we're doing solar power, a methane converter and a rainwater catchment system.

OK Folks, hold on to your hats!
The other day a neighbor came over for coffee and after shooting the breeze for a bit, he told us that at 3:30 that morning he saw lights on at our place. No big deal except that relying on solar power we seldom have any lights except for hurricane lamps. He said it was lit up like a city... Well, he went out to take a look and guess what? He say a large cylindrical object hovering over the yard! He watched as it slowly drifted to the west, stopped for about 5 minutes and then took off in a zig-zag pattern. He said it was totally silent! Then he returned to his house and locked the doors...
What do YOU think?
Whatever it was it freaked poor Lucille (miniature donkey) out so badly that she ran blindly into the only juniper in the pen & broke her neck. We're so sad to lose our loyal friend. She was very loved and will be greatly missed.
I'm supposed to be starting bedding plants so I'll close.
Light and Love
Cher
